The Process
The Consignor
-
The Consignor is to deliver the "Consigned goods" to The Affordable Baby Company's (Agent's) place of business.
-
The goods are to be cleaned and in a saleable condition.
-
Please include any warrantees or guarantees still remaining on the item.
-
The Consignment Receipt Note is to be completed in full, clearly stating a description of the items and pointing out all defects.
-
Please stipulate the price required and advise whether the price is negotiable.
-
Should the item not sell within 3 months from the date of the Consignment Receipt Note, the Agent will contact the Consignor to discuss whether the price should be reviewed.
-
Please ensure correct contact details are provided.
The Affordable Baby Company (Agent)
-
The Agent endevours to use all means possible to promote the sale of the consigned items.
-
The Consignor will not be charged an Agency fee but a commission will be added onto the selling price of the item.
-
As soon as the sale occurs the Agent will advise the Consignor accordingly and request banking details in order to transfer the funds.
-
The sale price less the Agent's commission will be deposited into the Consignor's account.
-
The amount deposited will not be lower than the amount stipulated on the Consignment Receipts Note unless a new price was agreed upon by both parties.
